Brookfield Country Club, Inc. Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 16, 2026
1. Introduction
Brookfield Country Club, Inc. (“Brookfield” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of visitors to our website at www.brookfieldcc.com (the “Site”), our mobile app (“App”), and individuals who interact with us in connection with our private country club, including golf, tennis, and other recreational facilities and membership services. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.
By using our Site, App, and any services provided by us, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
. This includes your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when you contact us, submit an inquiry, or request information about our club, facilities, or services. If you apply for membership or register for club programs or events, we may also collect membership application information, including financial and background information.
Information Collected Through the App
. When you use our App, we may collect additional information, including your device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, in-App usage data (such as features accessed, time spent, and interaction patterns), and crash logs and debugging information used to improve App performance and stability. Depending on the App's features, we may request access to your device's camera, microphone, or biometric sensors for authentication, photo uploads, or other functionality. You may manage these permissions through your device settings at any time.
Information Collected Automatically
. This includes your device and browser type, operating system, screen resolution, IP address, and approximate geographic location. We also collect data about the pages you visit, the referring URL that brought you to the Site, and the date and time of your access. This information is gathered through cookies, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies used to analyze Site traffic and usage patterns.
Location and Geofencing Data
. If you enable location services for the App, we may collect precise location data, including GPS coordinates, to power geofencing features. Geofencing uses your device's location services to create virtual boundaries around specific areas, such as the clubhouse or event locations, allowing us to send you relevant notifications, trigger location-based features, and improve your on-site experience. Location data collected through geofencing may include your precise location when you are near or within a geofenced area and the time and frequency of your entries and exits. You may enable or disable location services at any time through your device settings. If you disable location services, geofencing features such as location-based notifications may no longer function. We take reasonable steps to protect your location data using encryption and secure methods and will retain location data only as long as necessary for App functionality.
Information from Third Parties
. We may receive information about you from third-party platforms such as Facebook and Instagram if you interact with our social media pages. We may receive information from service providers who assist us with marketing, analytics, or membership processing. If you sign in to the App using a third-party account (such as ClubHouse Online, ForeTees, Golf Genius, or similar platforms), we may also collect limited profile data as permitted by those platforms, such as your name and email address.
3. Use of Your Information
We use the personal information collected to respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our club, events, and services. We also use it to process membership applications and manage our member relationships. Your information helps us operate, maintain, and improve the Site, the App, and to analyze usage trends so we can enhance the user experience. We use location and geofencing data to deliver location-based services and notifications within and around club facilities. Where permitted by law, we may use your contact information to send you marketing communications about our club, events, and services, and you may opt out at any time as described below. We also use personal information to comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Brookfield, our members, and the public.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data and improve your browsing experience. Essential cookies are necessary for the Site to function properly. Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site. Social media cookies may be placed by Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms when you interact with embedded social media features on the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may limit your ability to use some features of the Site. When you use the App, we may also use similar technologies, including software development kits (SDKs), to collect usage and performance data.
5. Information Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, analytics, marketing, membership processing, and club operations support. Location data collected through geofencing is used only to deliver location-based services and is not shared with third parties except as needed to provide those services or to comply with legal obligations. We may also share your information with professional advisors, including attorneys, accountants, and auditors, as needed for our business operations. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, we may disclose your information to government authorities. In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction involving all or part of our business, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity or its advisors. In any other situation where we seek to share your personal information, we will do so with your explicit consent.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in any such email or by contacting us using the information in Section 10. You may also manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to restrict or object to certain processing activities. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information provided in Section 10. If you are a resident of New York or another state with applicable consumer privacy legislation, we will process your requests in accordance with the requirements of that law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, maintain our business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site and App are not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under sixteen (16). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under sixteen (16), we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
